WIP #1 scarf
A wool/nylon/silk blend
Ever motif in this piece will be different. I have not decided on a name for it yet. I want something that reflects that each part is unique from all the others.
Nov 9. - almost done with the pieces. I've been on a break from this one while I decide what else to make for it. I think I want one more extra large piece and another large plus quite a a few more small and tiny ones. There will be a lot of blocking and weaving in of ends before I am ready to piece it together, but that part should go quickly.

Bottlebrush Scarf

Starting on bottlebrush flowers
this one will be the first in a series of hangings based on things I saw in Monterey, CA. It's one of my favorite places in the entire world and I have several pieces planned to pay tribute to it.

I've been playing with the layouts and realized that I need to downsize the flowers. I'm glad that I have not made dozens of them yet.

I've settled on a size for the flowers and have added the path that represents the Monterey Recreational Trail. It's one of my favorite places to walk. So many people out just enjoying themselves but you don't feel like you're in a crowd.
I'm really pleased with the way the branches have come out. I'm going to downsize the flowers and increase their numbers.
